I certify that adequate and timely notification
was made of the intention of the parties concerned to apply to the Legislative Council of Hong Kong for an Ordinance styled "An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of
the Directors of the Japanese Residents Association of Hong Kong (Hong Kong Nipponjin Kwai)" before the same was brought into the Legislative Council. Such
notification was made in the manner following: -
Notification of the intention of the parties to
apply for the said Ordinance was advertised in two issues of
the Government Gazette on the 1st and 8th April, 1927; and
in two issues of an English Newspaper circulating in the
Colony, namely,
The Hong Kong Daily Press on 12th and 13th May, 1927. A draft of the proposed said Ordinance was further published
in two issues of the Government Gazette on the 1st and 8th
April, 1927.
A proof of the notification was made before me in
Executive Council.
